Energy & Enviroment

The main assertions often claimed for the utility of federal regulations are that they protect the environment and ensure clean air and clean water for all. But, is that so? Additionally, there are myriad regulations promulgated by agencies tasked with accomplishing these noble goals such as, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, which seem to have only a tenuous connection to these aims. Thus, the focus of this working group is to examine the purpose and effectiveness of federal energy and environmental regulations.
