Gary Lawkowski is currently Counselor to the Deputy Secretary at the Department of the Interior.  Prior to joining the Department, Mr. Lawkowski served as legal counsel to a national non-profit organization and counsel to Chairman Lee E. Goodman and Vice Chairman Donald F. McGahn at the Federal Election Commission.  He earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, and a B.A. with High Distinction from the University of Virginia.
