Regulatory Process

Working Group

When 2016 ended, the regulatory code was over 168,000 pages long and there were over 70 federal regulatory agencies.  The sheer size and scope of this federal “Regulatory State” alone suggests that scrutinizing how it functions, or malfunctions, is an important and major task of good government.  Therefore, the primary focus of this working group is to examine the regulatory agencies themselves and how those agencies operate separately and jointly.
